Reflection of the big game

Today the year 5&6 capture the flag team played for winter sports, for our first game we versed Rawhiti and won 2-0, the next game we versed the best team Queenspark and we lost 1-0. I think the hardest thing in the games was that everyone was defending on the other team and it was hard to get past them. I am really looking forward to next week because all of us have so much fun playing and we are now starting to work well as a team. I think I need to work on going forward to the ball and catching the ball so I can get a goal.

Reflection of my big capture the flag game

Today some of the year 5&6´s played capture the flag for winter sports,first we versed Rawhiti and the score was 0-0 our games are 20 minutes but 10 minute halves, after that game we ate some of our lunch before our next game,when it was time for our next game we versed Queenspark we won 1-0 then we walked back to school,What I find hard in capture the flag is when someone steps you and goose guards you and when someone is faster then you.I am looking forward to next week is to hopefully work as a team. And I need to work on my catching when the ball is coming to me I need to be able to catch it so I dont drop it then I can quickly run in to the square.

My persuasive writing on why I think Richie McCaw should be on the 50 dollar note

  Richie McCaw
Richie McCaw is a famous New Zealander (kiwi). He has had a lot of experience with rugby so here is my persuasive writing on why I think he should be on the 50 dollar note.


Rugby is really important to NZ because everyone this is because of our heart warming Haka and Richie has been an amazing player of the All Blacks, our national team. His favourite position is loose forward. He is the most capped test rugby player of all time,and has won the World Rugby player of the year award a joint record three times.
He also has a kid called Charlotte Rose McCaw and a wife called Gemma Flynn there both very proud of Richie McCaw. (And obviously Charlotte is a very cool name)
But now Richie McCaw flies helicopters and everyone says he's in the air force but they just said that it will be cool to say and he is a wing commander and he delivers fonterra milk to some schools and has fun doing it.
These are all of my fantastic reasons on why I think Richie McCaw should at least be on the 50 dollar note.

How to be respectful of others around you.

WALT:Be respectful to others everywhere around us.  

is there any other ways you can be respectful of others.               

1.Listen to the person that's talking.	2.Giving manners when you need to.
3.Open a door for someone.	4.Make eye contact when saying good morning.
5.Don't yell out during class	6.Don't run in the classroom

7.Don't play fight in the playground or domain.	8.Don't start a food fight.
9.if someone needs space I will give them space.

Today some of the year 5&6´s played capture the flag for winter sport first we versed south New Brighton and we won 3-0 the next game we versed Queens park and no one got a goal but we worked really hard as a team and we all had so much fun and we are looking forward to next week and we are all so excited.Here are some photos from the game.
