Swimming school!

                                                 NBC have been trying to survive the dreadful                                                                                                  swimming lessons for two whole weeks.

It has been terrible for me because I'm in the big pool and my teacher doesnt let us have a break. My favourite stroke that my instructor made us do was breaststroke. We also got to put on flippers for one of the days and we had a contest who could stay under water the longest. But for the past 2 days we have been having a lot of fun because on Wednesday we got to wear life jackets in the big pool and they turned the big pool to 2.0metres. Yesterday we had two tasks one of them you got to go on a boat in the water and see what it would be like if the boat caught on fire so we had to fall of backwards. For the second task we had to get in to buddies and we had a bag with a rope in it and one of your buddies would swim out to the lane rope and they would pretend that they were drowning so your                                             other buddy had to throw the rope out and pull you back in.

Interland fun

Room two and three joined together to play Interland which is a game where you can choose 4 different islands they each have different meanings. To keep safe online the game that I played was kind kingdom where you had to stop the bullies online and make the people who got bullied feel better. It was quite hard but then I got the hang of it.

Today Stella the duffy role model came in to my school for a duffy assembly and talked about forest animals and how some animals are getting extinct. She also talked about native animals. My favourite animal was the possum even though I think they are gross I found that one really cool because of how fluffy it was. Thank you stella for coming in and teaching us about lots of different species.

                                    I found making this slide very simple because I searhed up a translater                                                                           but im very happy how it turned out!

                                            Room 3 is drawing a flag design for our school its for eastern zones.
                            I found my flag challenging at first because I had no clue what to draw for my                                                              design next time I hope I can have a better flag design!

Reward reflection

we are learning that making good choices.

Here is us in our hut.

Today room three had a reward for putting all our marbles in the jar. For our reward we made lots of different huts so we brought our blankets and you could either bring your technology or bring a teddy. So Hunter brought his massive panda bear and a blanket. Katelyn brought her blanket and Brad brought his ipad. I brought my blanket and phone all four of us were in the hut together playing on each others devices. We used six tables and put lots of heavy things on the hut so that the blankets wouldn´t fall down. We were in the hut for about 1 hour and a half it was a lot of fun!

                                 Finding the pictures for some of them were fun but also some of them were                                                                       quite hard to find the write picture.
                                                Do you have spelling words if so are they hard?

Kiwiana special art!

W.A.L.T: Identify things that are kiwiana.

                                             we used bold colours to fill out quadrants.
                                           I thought that this was really hard to trace over and I was scared my                                                  pavlova wouldn´t look like one so I got really scared.
                                           At one point I thought one of the colours would run out.

Te Ara Tuhura

W.A.L.T: Design a logo for our cluster Te Ara Tuhura.Have you ever done a logo design for Te Ara Tuhura?

I found my logo challenging to make because i didnt have a good idea but then I realised that I could do a mountain with everybody growing together which is the trees!
