Recently we have been learning about Kate Sheppard and what she did, we also were looking at Maori Suffragette Meri Te Tai Mangakahi. So we made a poster about what they have done and how they chnaged it.
Today in R.E we learnt about Sister Aroha. We watched a video about her and read about her. After we had done that we made a Venn Diagram about Mary and Sister Aroha, we said what their simalarities are and what the difference in them are. After that task we got to chose if we wanted to talk about Marys life or Sister Arohas life. I chose Sister Aroha and talked about what she does/did and how she started.
Today for prayers I made a google drawing about compassion and how you can show it. Compassion is being kind towards others and not expecting anything in return
Hut before we made this google drawing we watched a video on you tube about a man who gives lots of things for others but doesnt get anything in return.
