Summarise the story :

Jesus rose from the dead and no one knew until someone went to the tomb and rolled over the stone and saw that Jesus was not there and then Jesus appeared and went to go show the disciples that he rose from the dead.He showed them the holes in his hand to show that he really rose after that the disciples told the town that he rose.

What was the positives from this ?

Jesus rose from the dead and the disciples got to see Jesus and saw that he actually rose from the dead.

what are the negatives of this story ? They were too afraid to tell people that Jesus has risen.

What other ways could the disciples share the good news ?

Got everyone together to announce it instead of telling everyone individually.

What were the emotions you felt while reading this ? I

felt while reading this is I feel is its so crazy what happened !

why do you feel like this ? Because I think it is really interesting reading it.

How would you feel if you were Mary or the disciples ?

I would not know how to feel because one minute Jesus is dead and the next minute in the same room.

Today in R.E. I finished off my comic strip of Jesus rising from the dead. It was lots of fun and I used Pixton Comics. I loved trying something new. I recommend trying it sometime. I liked using Pixton because I could experience different characters. Once I finished I put it on a Google Slideshow, I hope you enjoy it.

Our Surfing Trip With The Year 7/8s

 W.A.L.T write to recount a memorable experience or moment.

Yesterday on the 17th of March the year 7/8s went surfing. Some of us were learning to surf and some of us already knew how to surf. We did this down the road at New Brighton Beach. When we first got there we talked about the surfing conditions and how to pop up on a surfboard. We also talked about how we can be safe in the water. After the talk we got on our wet suits. We split into two groups, i was in the first group so i went surfing first. 

I enjoyed catching party waves with my friends and seeing Arnaika try jump over waves. I also liked it when Hunter and I caught a wave and went all the way in. I loved crashing into Jackson m, it was hilarious.

I go surfing often and would love to go more, but i cant be bothered going most of the time. I still love to surf though.  

I felt excited and warm surfing. I feel excited while surfing because I love catching waves with my friends, I also felt warm because it was a hot day and the water wasnt cooling me down. I had swallowed lots of water and i could feel the sault water in my throat. 

After that our half an hour session was over, so we got dressed in the changing rooms, then we walked down to the New Brighton playground and ate our lunch. After we had our lunch we played on the playground and Reggie and I were on the big swing and got pushed really high.

 Last week on Thursday the senior syndicate went to the town hall to watch the NZSO/New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. 

We took a cool bus there and back, it had curtains, seat belts, reclining chairs and air conditioning. When we got there we went up the stairs to go on the balcony and we got to watch from upstairs. Lots of others schools went, it filled up the whole town hall. 

The Orchestra was about Peter and the Wolf.  We went to listen to the music and have an image of what it is like to perform on stage. I enjoyed listening to the different kind of music that was playing and how one instrument can be very low and another can be very high. 

I think the most interesting sound was drums, i like how low the sounding of it could go and how loud it was.  I also found the flute very interesting, i dont know why but i still loved listening to the flute.

If i could play one of the instruments i would play the flute or the conductor, i like the flute because it looks impressive to play and i wanna be a conductor because it looks like a big role and i would love to do that.

 I felt tired listening to the music but also excited to see what was next because at one point they banged on the drums and it gave everyone a fright.

W.A.L.T  Understand the purpose of a blog.

Today Hunter, Max and I made a comic strip about the purpose of a blog. We had an app to use for some cool icons its called Flaticon. We didnt have enough time to finish. Flaticon is a website where you can search up any images or icons for your work/drawings. 

First Hunter put text boxes all on the google drawing while max wrote everything while they were doing that i got the images/icons for the comic strip. 

The sources we used was Flaticon and Google drawing.

Today for cyber smart we had to make a DLO of rules with our chrome books, we got images to explain the rules in another way.

Big Ben colouring picture!

Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London and is usually extended to refer to both the clock and the clock tower. The tower in which Big Ben is located is officially called the Elizabeth Tower; originally just the Clock Tower, it was renamed in 2012 for the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II.

Today I coloured in the Big Ben on this new google tool that Im trying out called Art colouring book, and we got to chose what picture we want and I chose the Big Ben, The reason I decided to chose this picture is because I am half English and I saw the Big Ben when I went to England a few years ago.
