Today for tech I made a Rube Goldburg Machine with lots of different objects from around the house. It took 16 attempts and we changed it quite alot to make it work. I enjoyed making it and see what I could use, but I disliked it when it wouldnt work.

Poppies Post!

For reading today we had to do a blog post about poppies. We had to do a timeline on slide 9 and 10, from information that we had read on slide 3 and 4. We had to put the dates in order for the timeline, and screenshot it and put it onto our blog.

What I found challenging was going from slide to slide trying to get information.

I have made a math slide on angles to teach others and to learn more myself about angles. So I made a slide drew a few pictures of the angles. And it could help anyone if they need help with angles.
What went well is I got the pictures I wanted and it all worked out. I got my information from a few videos I watched, some of my friends blog posts and a picture that Miss Holland showed us.

New York Is Falling!

New York is falling!

The words rang in Jim’s head. They were the last words to crackle out of the
radio before it stopped broadcasting. That had been three days ago.
Jim had not heard any words since then. It was like something
had happened to manhattan, because that's where they record on the radio.

So Jim decided he wanted to go on a drive to see what's going on. He was thinking of the
worst and all this negativity was in the air whilst he yelled for a taxi. The taxi stopped, Jim said
¨manhattan please¨. They were driving for what felt forever it had only been 10 minutes though.
As he had butterflies going up and down his body he waited and waited for manhattan to arrive…

Jim had arrived at the start of manhattan, it looked like war. There were grey skies, buildings had fallen down,
and crying people. The taxi driver pulled over ¨come on let's go back¨! ¨NO, I'm staying but you can go back¨.
¨ok but be safe¨   ¨wait when you get back send lots of taxi drivers¨ said Jim. ¨I will¨ said the taxi driver. 

Jim got out of the car and ran to some people crying and begging for help. Jim asked what's happening,
¨there's been a fire in a building with lots of people in there¨ . Jim told them to go over to the sidewalk and
start walking back, someone will pull over. Jim ran and saved people and told them to start running back.

 Jim decided to go into the building, other buildings started to collapse. That's when he started to get a move on.
He helped people get out of the building, he was gonna go and leave Manhattan but he heard one more scream and it was on the top level.
Everyone started to get in taxis and leave. Jim heard sirens but he wanted to do something. 

He got past the fire up 50 lofts of stairs and heard one more loud scream. Jim saw the girl her leg was stuck under the table,
Jim lifted the table sacrificing his life. The girl got up and ran. Jim dropped the table and carried the girl back down outside.
Her mum was so happy to see and thanked Jim lots.

The fire department came and somehow got the fire out. Everyone got out safely and Jim was the new hit. Everyone helped
get Manhattan back to the way it was. And it was a good city.

The differencess of a verb!

I have had to write 10 words of imperative verbs and adverbs.  I also had to make 10 sentences on the words.

I learnt the differences between and adverb and imperative verb. And now I know what they are.

The Holy Spirit!

I learnt that Jesus sent down the Holy spirit and showed signs that he was there with them, they just couldnt see him. Then we everyone told the people they didnt believe them.

She knew it hadn't been a good idea to leave the tap running, but now she was starting to enjoy herself. She looked down into the deep dark blue ocean and saw a turtle, she had a big smile on her face but behind that smile was a petrified face. It started to get a little rocky out at the ocean. So she started to feel a little sick. She took some deep breaths to hold it in. she got a handful of water and rinsed of her face to make her feel fresh. But when she went to go pick some water up she accidentally picked up a starfish, the girl screamed but all that she could hear was her own echo. She turned around thing land was right behind her. But it wasn't. She tried turning the bath around she did that successfully until the bath stopped moving and was getting ready to sink.¨NO” the girl yelled. She had a talent of talking to animals so she started talking to the turtle, and she said ¨help me can you and your friends move the bath all together¨ the turtle agreed on it. And on the count of three, all of the turtles picked up the bath and started swimming so fast. They let go and the girl was off, she was ready to go back home. After a little while of waiting she had to put all her weight on the left side to turn to the left. And then the right side and then the left. Until what she saw was her house with the bathroom door slightly open ready for her to go back in. she slides through her house past her mum, but her mum doesn't see. She opens the door more and puts the bath where its supposed to be. She slams the door behind her and gets in the bath as if nothing happened. Her mum knocks on the door and comes in ¨are you alright dear¨ the little girl responds with ¨of course I was just in the bath the whole time¨ and she giggled a little. THE END!

I have just read the baby-sitters club and this is my summary on what I just read!

The girls are all in a babysitting club and they saw this poster saying another that there a babysitting club and that they have had lots of experiance with children and there the right age. but they are actually really mean and take away the girls buissness.

I reckon whats going to happen next is the girls will tell the parents how bad the other babysitters are but the parents wont believe them.

She pulled down on the chain with her left hand, steering herself towards her target.

It was supposed to be the most exciting birthday present ever; a hot air balloon ride. However, Alice had been hanging on for dear life for over 100KM (since the basket of the hot air balloon had fallen off). She was now getting used to steering the huge balloon by manoeuvring her body, leaning to the left or to the right. A big gust of wind comes and takes her up in the clouds as she was closing her eyes she went up up up. She was screaming as loud as a volcano erupting. She then started to blend in with the clouds. She had calmed down and took a big breath in and a big breath out. She puts her hand out to touch the clouds, she touched it and it felt like candy floss! She tried taking a big bite out of the clouds to see if it tasted candy floss. She took a big bite and it tasted like CANDY FLOSS! The little girl grabs the biggest handful of her life and stuffs her face with candy floss. Time went by and then the girl started to drop slowly down and further down. Thats when she realised she needed to stop having fun and be serious and try land perfectly. She tugged and tugged on the left chain trying to aim back to her parents, she tugged on the right and then the left and then right again. Until she was perfectly targeted where she wanted to go. She got lower and lower to the ground and then she started running and running. Her legs were moving so fast in the air you couldn't even see them. She touched down with people getting her of the swing she stopped and gave the biggest smile and a cute little laugh and told everyone about it.

“You can’t leave without me! Where are you going?” The words came out like a squeak; her throat felt tight as she struggled to fight back the tears that had begun to stain her pale cheeks. Without looking back they took of and you could only just see them in the distance.”What do I do” she shouted. The clouds started to move along in a click, They got darker and darker by the cloud. So she lay down in the tall prickly grass, while her eyes slowly shut. The girl woke up in the middle of the night to rain drenching her. Along with lightning and thunder, the lightning made it look like it was day time for a split second and then it went to pitch black. She started to walk into the trees for shelter, she got to the trees and tried making a hut out of sticks,leaves and branches. She didn't need to find a blanket or tarp of some sort because the dress she was wearing was so big that it covered her whole body. She woke up the next morning to a bright cheerful morning. She heard what was like a helicopter or a plane. She got up and started waving her arms all over the place trying to get the attention to the pilot. But she still couldn't see where the helicopter was. Then all of a sudden a bid loud helicopter comes up right behind her. Turns out it was the flying ship that had left her. The captain said hurry up get on the ladder the volcano is about to erupt.”volcano?” the girl said questionly as she starts to climb on the ladder. The girl gets onto the ship and asks why they all left her. The captain replies with “we thought that you were aboard the ship so we left quickly until when we had got home we realised that the princess wasn't with us aka you, so we turned around and came back”. “But why did you leave so quickly” the princess asked. “Because the volcano is about to erupt” the captain exclaimed. BOOM “uh oh its the volcano” said the princess. The captain went fast and faster until it was so fast you couldn't see anything. But the good news is they got home safe and sound.
